In this QuickStart! - Autodesk 3ds Max 2009 tutorial by VTC, students will be introduced to the new features of Max, followed by a quick tour of the interface. The tutorial also discusses 2D shapes and how to make 3D objects from 2D shapes before moving on to basic polygonal modeling. The animation chapter discusses keyframe animation, animating materials and modifiers and also has an introduction to the curve editor.
